Overcasters by ASA are a lightweight, simple, and effective view-limiting instrument training device for pilots. With a frosted, clip-on visor that attaches to a prescription eyeglass or sunglass frame in seconds, Overcasters eliminate the discomfort of straps, helmets, or hoods. When flipped down, Overcasters provide near perfect simulated instrument conditions, and when flipped up, the device serves to mimic “instrument-to-visual” transition.
When not in use, Overcasters can remain attached to your glasses or be clipped onto a kneeboard, notebook, or flight bag for easy storage.
