This new generation (G2) datawriter is required for Skybound updates for your Garmin avionic device. The Adapter utilizes USB technology found standard on most computers.
This G2 Skybound datawriter works with the old data cards (8-16 MB) as well as with the new generation data cards (16 MB) and can be used for Garmin datacards only!
